The Dot Creatives is a stationery and illustration brand by Melbourne-based illustrator and designer Komal Sutaria. With a background in architecture and a lifelong habit of filling sketchbooks, journals and scraps of paper with drawings, Komal makes paper goods inspired by nature, experiences, travel and the small things worth noticing.
From sketching imagined botanical worlds to collecting stickers and pressing flowers between book pages, The Dot Creative grew from a desire to make the kinds of objects she had always loved herself. Working across illustration, cyanotype printing and analogue making processes, she designs notebook inserts, sticker sheets, illustrated maps, sticky notes and art prints.
