Object Works
A celebration of the ordinary taken seriously. In their hands, the familiar becomes quietly extraordinary — objects of purpose, integrity, and enduring design
Object Works elevates the ordinary: taking familiar forms and materials and treating them with the care, precision and reverence often reserved for the exceptional. The studio believes everyday objects hold quiet potential, and deserve to be taken seriously.
Its work is informed by objects and brands that embody understated excellence: the BIC Cristal pen, the French chore coat, the Eames chair. Object Works finds meaning in tools and garments that serve with integrity, purpose and longevity.
This ethos is reflected in the collection. Centred on the artistry and heritage of the ballpoint pen, it honours the tools behind everyday creativity. Shaped by a background in automotive design — where the humble Biro was a constant companion — each pen is a functional industrial object, refined for enduring use.
Carefully balanced for drawing and writing, Object Works ballpoint pens pay tribute to icons including BIC, Mitsubishi and Monami, while offering contemporary interpretations of their enduring legacy.
The pens are complemented by considered desk accessories, designed to complete a creative space where form meets function. Every piece is designed and crafted in the Melbourne workshop, with a commitment to subtle excellence and lasting utility.
