Muze Pens

Fine writing instruments with history, heart, and a touch of inspiration.

Muze Pens is Hong Kong’s oldest and most beloved pen shop, carrying forward a legacy that began back in 1958 with the Pen Museum. When the museum closed in 2018, Muze picked up the torch, opening its doors in the buzzing neighbourhood of Sham Shui Po in 2019.

The name “Muze” is a nod both to “muse”, that spark of creativity that inspires us to write, and to “museum,” honouring the heritage of its predecessor. Step inside, and you’ll find an incredible selection of fountain pens, ballpoints, pencils, inks, and accessories, each chosen not just as a writing tool, but as a source of joy and inspiration.

Just like its eclectic neighbourhood – where traditional dai-pai-dong eateries rub shoulders with hip cafés, vinyl record shops, and art spaces – Muze thrives on creativity. If you’re a longtime collector or just discovering the pleasure of putting pen to paper, there’s something here to stir your imagination.

And for those beyond Hong Kong, Muze ships worldwide, bringing the love of handwriting to desks across the globe. Wherever you are, the joy of writing is only a pen away.
