Minimaru is a Melbourne-based store curating Japanese stationery, paper goods and lifestyle pieces, alongside a wider range of Japanese homewares, tableware and kitchenware.

Founded in 2021, Minimaru began with a love of Japanese design, craftsmanship and thoughtful everyday objects. Our stationery range has become an important part of what we do, with carefully selected notebooks, planners, paper goods, washi tapes, stickers, pencil cases, desk accessories and writing tools from Japan.

For the Melbourne Pen Show, we will be bringing a dedicated Japanese stationery range, with a focus on practical, well-designed items for writing, journalling, planning, organising and creative use. Our selection will include our popular Hobonichi range, along with Japanese pens, notebooks, paper goods, washi tapes, stickers and desk accessories.

While Minimaru is also known for Japanese homewares and lifestyle goods, our approach is the same across every category: we look for products that are well-made, functional and thoughtfully designed. Whether it is a planner, a notebook, a pen case, a ceramic bowl or a kitchen tool, each piece is chosen for its quality, usability and quiet charm.

Minimaru has stores in Clayton and Chadstone, and ships Australia and New Zealand-wide through our online store.
