Esterbrook

Esterbrook Pens Co. brings more than 150 years of history into the present, creating distinctive writing instruments for a global community of fountain pen users.

For more than 165 years, Esterbrook has been part of the world of fine writing. Founded in 1858, it is one of America’s oldest pen brands. Esterbrook pens have been used by everyone from President John F. Kennedy to Charles Schulz, and its remarkable archive continues to inspire the brand today.

Esterbrook’s philosophy is simple: look to history without being limited by it. From the best-selling Estie to the pocket-sized Niblet, its collections draw on vintage designs while using modern materials and manufacturing for a contemporary feel. Over the years, this approach has expanded beyond fountain pens to include journals, accessories and other products that reflect the interests of the writing community.

Collaboration is also an important part of the Esterbrook story. Whether partnering with heritage brands such as Peanuts and Moomin, or working with artists and retailers around the world, each project is an opportunity to introduce new people to the world of fine writing while continuing to explore what the Esterbrook name can become.

For more than 165 years, Esterbrook has been America’s pen brand—and it is just getting started.
